WEDDING INFORMATION
General Information and Booking Procedures -
To book your wedding at the Resort first you need to confirm Hotel Reservations.
You must request a Wedding Application (it is send with this information).
Payment can be done in cash once you arrive at the Resort or by credit card (6% charge). What we do need is your complete Wedding Application as soon as you receive it. Important: No arrangements will be made until the Wedding Application is received.
Upon received filled the Wedding Application, our professional Wedding Coordinator will contact the bride or groom at the designated phone number or email, if you don´t want to be disturbed by the Wedding Coordinator, please let us know. From this point on all inquires and/or requests should be directed to the Wedding Coordinator who is in close contact with the hotel regarding wedding arrangements.
The Wedding Coordinator will provide the following services: Application to the legal authorities in Cancun; Wedding License including an authenticated copy of the Wedding Certificate; Judge or designated official to perform ceremony at the hotel in english or spanish; all the information regarding blood tests, setting day and time with the bride and groom, wedding day itinerary; any needs you want (included in the Plus List); final touch and supervision of the wedding decoration and all other assistance and coordination of the wedding.
Couples need to be in Cancun at least 4 business days before the Wedding Ceremony.
Information regarding:
The day of arrival, the Wedding Coordinator will phone or contact you to set the appointment for the blood test and for meeting the next day. The bride and groom will meet with the hotel Wedding Coordinator who will tell you everything about the wedding. First of all she will ask for the legal documents, music, flowers, setting and all the rest of the details for the Wonderful Wedding!
A) LEGAL DOCUMENTS:
1. Original Birth Certificates for the bride and groom
2. Passports (bride, groom and 4 witness). Although passports are not required for US Citizens for entry into Mexico, they are mandatory for wedding
3. Emmigration Card - FMT (bride, groom and 4 witness, provided by customs upon arrival to Cancun International Airport)
4. Full names, address, age, nationality and occupation of the bride, groom and 4 witness (filled in the Wedding Application)
5. Statutory Declaration confirming marital status (not a joint declaration)
6. If Divorce - Decree Absolute APOSTILLE and translated into spanish
7. If Adopted - Adoption Certificate APOSTILLE and translated into spanish
8. If Widowed - Death certificate of former spouse and Marriage Certificates APOSTILLE and translated into spanish
9. If under 21 years - evidence of parental consent by statutory declaration APOSTILLE and translated into spanish.
10. If change of name- Document APOSTILLE and translated into spanish
Note: If you bring your Birth Certificate APOSTILLE, it needs to be translated into spanish.
Blood Type, HIV and STD The time of the wedding is in the afternoon (from 2pm to 5pm); ceremonies are done from Monday to Friday. WEDDING DAY ITINERARY If the couple or the companions need hairdresser, makeup, manicure- pedicure or more, the appointment can be arranged to visit them at their room. OPTIONAL SERVICES FOR THE WEDDING
The hotel Wedding Coordinator will advise the couple of the appointment time for the blood test which will be done in their room and it only takes 5 minutes. The results will be sent to the hotel or to the Wedding Coordinator. Approximate cost is $160.00 USD per couple.

Rates are subject to change without notice.
The groom will have to be 15 minutes before the wedding time at the lobby to meet the Wedding Coordinator, then she will take the groom and his party to the location. Afterwards, the coordinator will go to the brides room when everything is ready and go together to the wedding location.
The bride can be accompanied by the coordinator if she does not have friends or family when she walks up the location.
The judge will conduct the ceremony in English or spanish, it is not really a religious speech, the couple may be asked if they want to say some vows to each other. Bride and Groom will need to sign and thumb print 6 copies of the Wedding Certificate and the witnesses will be asked to sign too (4 witness are required legally, they can be friends, holiday makers or hotel staff).
This ceremony will take about 30 minutes; then the champagne will be opened and the cake cut, followed by photographs, video (optional) in different settings at the beach and hotel; then you will have your delicious dinner at the Restaurant.
